Raz Rising

For the next two weeks, I will be bogged with producing new stories so blogging will have to take a backseat. (Strange why I’m even bothered to post this notice considering I’m the laziest and inconsistent blogger on the blogsphere.) Anyways, I have now been invited to pitch for telemovies and of course, my genre will be that of horror/supernatural. The TV station is looking for something out-of-ordinary. (Aren’t we all?) However, I must agree with them that we (local writers) lack of originality. If you have been a faithful follower of the local movie scenes/telemovies, you will notice that the same story structure is being repeated many times in different movies. This is so in both horror or otherwise (drama, comedy etc). Our movies are so predictable. (Especially, cite hantu. Kalau ada bomoh mesti mati! Kalau ada hantu mesti nak bunuh orang. Ada ke hantu bunuh orang ar? )

I guess that is the reason why I am taking some time-out from the blogging scene. (Again, I don’t understand why I’m saying this!) I need to focus fully on the storyline and the deadline to produce my first synopsis will be this Friday. And, guess what? I don’t have a story to tell! So, wish me luck!
